That photo is kind of ironic too... That guys is one of the most famous dictators in the last century. "Democracy"! The slogan sounds nice, but he never in his life enforced it.
note: CKS Memorial Hall was built when Taiwan was still under 1 party dictatorship.

Maybe that's why he isn't worshipped in Taiwan. Embracing his "legacy" would be hypocritical.

Nice pics...good to see lots of different aspects of life in Taipei...thats funny that there's big billboard of Tim Duncan on the street. I've always thought that the Taipei 101 tower doesn't mesh at all well with the rest of the city though....
