Because being a major city, like most major cities, it is polluted. Plus, Chongqing is in the Yangtze River basin where there's a lot of mist (i think...) Also, the river has lots of sediments that have been carried along form all parts of the Yangtze River. Lastly, Chongqing is also very industrious.beautiful
